Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and differently-abled candidates).
- A B.Ed. degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
Exceptions:
- Candidates applying for Commerce, French, German, Geology, Home Science, Journalism, Latin, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Russian,
- Social Work, Sociology, Statistics, and Syriac do not require a B.Ed.
- Candidates with DLEd/LTTC in Arabic, Urdu, and Hindi without a B.Ed. can apply for SET January 2026.
- Candidates in the final year of their B.Ed. or Master’s program can also apply.
Age Limit:
- No upper age limit for appearing in the Kerala SET exam.
